Our aim is clear - to provide an environment where fun is at the core of every session and to ensure all athletes are given the opportunity to learn, express ideas and develop their skills and understanding of the game. 

Every player is different and we cater for all abilities and ambitions. Whether you are a young player new to the game or an advanced athlete looking to reach the highest level, our camps will help you reach your goals whilst having a lot of fun along the way!

Ben is the Director of Five Star Hockey and is a full time professional hockey coach. Ben's main role is Head of Hockey at Stowe School, a large independent school in Buckinghamshire. Ben founded the men's section at Buckingham Hockey Club and coaches the 1st XI.

Previous roles include Nottingham Trent Ladies 1st XI and Men's 1st XI coach and Northampton Saints Hockey Club.

As as player, Ben played at 1st XI level for Northampton Town, Northampton Saints, Nottingham, Beeston, Sheffield, Khalsa and Nottingham Trent University as well as representing England Universities.

Zoe is a very experienced coach having been a headline name on many camps and academies over the years. Zoe coaches in the junior section at Buckingham Hockey Club as well as Winchester House School.

As a player, Zoe has done it all. A National Premier League captain with Buckingham HC as well as earning 58 caps for England and Great Britain. Zoe won a silver medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and a bronze at the 2017 European Championships.

Jon is the Northants Academy Centre Head Coach and is part of the GB Hockey Advanced Coach Programme. Jon brings many years of coaching experience to the team having coached girls and boys aged 6+ right through the ladies and men's senior sides. 

Jon firmly believes in the England Hockey Golden Thread and End in Mind philosophy and has seen players improve massively under his stewardship.

As a player, Jon plays for Northampton Saints Hockey Club and England O45 Masters

Ella is a very experienced GK and outfield coach. Ella works at Stowe School coaching the U16A Girls and the 1st XI Boys and is also part of the Sport101 coaching team. 

As a player, Ella is the Buckingham Ladies goalkeeper and plays International hockey for Wales. Ella was part of the victorious Buckingham Ladies team that were promoted to the National Premier League a few years back and has helped the team to three consecutive top four finishes.

Dom is a professional hockey coach at Stowe School where he leads the U14 boys and U16 girls. Dom is a vastly experienced coach, also coaching the Buckingham Ladies 2nd XI, Buckingham University and Buckinghamshire County age groups teams and having coached at Bangor University and Devizes HC.

Dom also specialises in video analysis, providing all Stowe performance teams with detailed analysis of their league games.

Thalia is a hockey coach at Stowe School and currently plays for Buckingham Ladies 2nd XI. Thalia was a two year 1st XI captain at Stowe School from 2015-2017 and was also Head Girl during her U6 year.

Thalia studied Psychology at Bath University and played 1st XI hockey for both the university and the club side in the National League Conference West. Thalia is now taking a postgraduate diploma in Sports Management at the University of Cape Town.

Jack is a very experienced coach having worked with all ages and abilities in several different European countries.

Jack has coached in Glasgow and Amsterdam and worked with national age group players from both countries.

Jack's main roles include boys' U17 Northants Head Coach and the University of Northampton Men's 1st XI coach as well as leading the U16 boys at Bedford School. Jack is also the Northampton Saints 2nd XI player coach.
